Priscilla Hurd, LPC, M.Ed.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned my Master’s Degree in Counselor Education, with a specialization in couples and family counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association.
My experience includes working with children, teens, and adults for individual work, as well as couples and families dealing with an array of different issues. I specialize in helping couples:
- get their relationship back on track by helping them reconnect with one another,
- better their communication skills,
- break dysfunctional patterns,
- and learn the art of compromise.
I help people navigate through the decision of ending a relationship when needed. I offer premarital counseling as well, for those considering entering a marital commitment.
I also specialize in working with children and adolescents dealing with behavioral, mood, anxiety, and adjustment issues. Helping parents to fine-tune their parenting techniques is an important part of my therapeutic process when working with minors. I work from an integrative approach, tailoring the interventions used on a case-by-case basis.
Before opening Magnolia Family Counseling, my previous work experience includes working as a volunteer for the Battered Women’s Program crisis hotline in Baton Rouge, working as a Counselor Practicum Student for Southeastern Louisiana University’s Counseling Center, and working as a Student Counselor Intern for Trinity Counseling and Training Center in New Orleans. I also worked as a counselor at Northshore & Southshore Counseling and Wellness from January 2011 to March 2015.
I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Louisiana State University. I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. I currently reside in Metairie, Louisiana with my husband, son, and two adorable dogs, Mr. Echo and Lyla.

Allison Proctor, LPC, M.Ed.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned my Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Southeastern Louisiana University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association.
My experience includes working individually with adolescents, college-aged students and adults, and working with specific groups in the areas of parenting and anger management. I also specialize in working with couples and assisting them in dealing with various issues including: lack of communication, parenting conflicts, and infidelity concerns.
My mission is to provide efficient, nonjudgmental, and compassionate counseling to those in need. I specialize in and have experience with treating problems associated depression, anxiety, anger management, various relationship issues, traumatic experiences, and substance abuse.
Before joining Magnolia Family Counseling, I was an LPC directing counseling services to students at Dillard University from October 2013 to December 2016, I worked as a substance abuse counselor at Behavioral Health Group from October 2010 to October 2013, I worked as a Student Counselor Intern for Family Services of Greater New Orleans and as a Counselor Practicum Student for Southeastern Louisiana University’s Counseling Center. I also volunteered for the Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center as a volunteer telephone crisis counselor from 2005-2007.
I holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University. I am a native of Napoleonville, Louisiana. My husband and I currently reside in New Orleans (since 2008) with our daughter, Madison and dog, Lucy.

Bracely Williams, LMFT, LPC
I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received my BA in Psychology from Dillard University in 2007 and my MA in Family Therapy from the University of Houston- Clear Lake in 2010.
I am committed to helping you navigate through the challenges of life. I specialize in helping my clients overcome difficult issues, so that they can live purposeful and joy-filled lives. I have experience working with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and adults dealing with emotional, spiritual, behavioral, and relationship concerns. I offer individual, couple and family services. I work with a variety of presenting issues, including child behavior, grief, trauma, anxiety management, stress management, self-esteem, LGBTQ, marital conflict and occupational concerns.
I tend to be eclectic in my style and tailor it according to the client’s specific circumstances. I often incorporate a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and systems theory. I emphasize building rapport and trust in the therapeutic relationship and then working toward insight and change through a collaborative process. My desire is to walk with you in life’s most difficult times in order for you to receive healing, clarity, and positive growth.
Before joining Magnolia Family Counseling, my previous work experience includes working as a therapist, psychoeducation trainer and crisis specialist for Hidalgo Health Associates EAP in Baton Rouge. I also was a Counselor Practicum Student for University of Houston-clear Lake and a Student Counselor Intern for Children’s Assessment Center in Houston, Texas. My most recent work includes counseling students, staff and faculty at Xavier University of Louisiana’s Counseling and Wellness Center.

Aryane S. Williams, PLPC, M.A. – On Leave Currently and Not Accepting New Clients
I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) who earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
My experience includes working with couples, families and individuals dealing with various challenges and issues. I specialize in treating adults and adolescents with both mental health and substance use issues. My areas of specialty are anxiety and depression, minority/multicultural challenges, trauma treatment, behavior issues, substance use and LGBTQ couples and individuals.
I became a therapist to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier, happier life. I believe in a holistic approach to health; that all components of ones’ life are interrelated.
Before joining Magnolia Family Counseling, my previous work experience includes working as a substance abuse counselor for adults and adolescents at both Center for Discovery and Adolescent Change (Los Angeles) and Bridge House (New Orleans). I also worked as a behavioral therapist at Center for Autism and Related Disorders (Los Angeles). My most recent work includes counseling families and individuals living with HIV/Aids at NO/Aids Task Force (New Orleans).
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Marketing from Dillard University. I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. I currently reside in Gretna, Louisiana with my husband and two loving dogs, Daisy and Lilly.
